How yellow-colored glasses change the view

Yellow can make a scene look warmer or subjectively brighter. However, do not confuse that appearance with an improvement in night vision. Tinted lenses filter the light reaching your eyes; they are not a way to add light to a dark scene.

How much you enjoy yellow lenses depends on your surroundings and your preference for the tint. Do not assume a yellow appearance establishes UV protection, a particular blue-light filtering percentage, or suitability for a sport. Instead, check the specifications of the exact product.

What about screens and night driving?
